Vital.ly’s previous brand name and UI were purely functional, but lacked any personality or connection to a greater sense of purpose.

We crafted the name ‘Vital.ly’ working off initial explorations around the words ‘vital’ and ‘vitality’ to create a powerful and unique expression that had an integrated URL strategy and spoke to the brand’s new positioning of finding smarter ways for the world to practice natural health. Including the ‘.’ in the brand name itself also provided the springboard for the visual identity concept. We developed an idea around ‘the dot that does’, taking the dot in the vital.ly name and animating it so that it became a kind of guide to the experience of the Vital.ly brand, leading the user through interfaces and communications and inspiring a connection with the Vital.ly proposition through icons and messaging.
